Hi everyone. Welcome back. We are happy to share with you our new Pronunciation Cards using our ‘Stress Blobs’ to help your students and kids with STRESS PATTERNS in English words.
These are updated from our previous blogs on two, three and four syllable words with corrections made to some of the stress on the syllables. So please use these pronunciation cards from now on.

Four Syllable Words
Four syllable words are less predictable than three syllable words. However it is still good practise to practise some of the patterns with four syllable words below.
Two Syllable Words
With two syllable words things are easier. usually the first syllable is stressed and the second syllable is unstressed. Try with the words below. Can you recognise the words below? You can listen to the audios to help you.
Hope these help with your students pronunciation of two, three and four syllable words in English.
